Anthony McKenzie – Personal Trainer
Anthony is Sloan's Gym Belfast's longest serving personal trainer, having been part of the gym family for over seven years. His passion for sport and fitness runs deep, from representing the IFA Academy and County Down to playing at Southampton U12's, Glentoran Academy's U17 level and Comber Rec, football has been a thread woven throughout his life, and that competitive drive shapes everything he brings to his coaching service today.
A highly qualified coach, Anthony holds Level 2 & 3 Active IQ certifications, a Sports Diploma in Sport & Exercise Science from Belfast Met, and football coaching badges at both C License and NCC level, including a Disability Football qualification. He is also Belfast's first certified Hyrox Coach, a testament to his commitment to staying at the cutting edge of the fitness landscape.
Anthony practises what he preaches. He has competed in Hyrox events across Europe, taking on races in Dublin, Toulouse, Cardiff, Glasgow, Rome, Madrid, and Poland. He has also stepped on stage in Men's Physique competitions under both UKBFF and PCA banners, achieving a 4th place finish at PCA level.
Over his seven years at Sloan's, Anthony has worked with hundreds of clients and built a reputation for delivering exceptional results in men's muscle gain and hybrid training, helping people build serious strength while staying athletic, capable, and competition-ready.
